Fr Gijo George, a priest of Little Flower Congregation. He was born on 16th May in St George church Muthalakodam, Kothamagalam. The family consists of 6 members. Father, mother, two sisters and a brother. He finished his secondary schooling from St Joseph’s H.S.S Karimannoor, Thodupuzha, Idukki(Dt), Kerala. After completing schooling in March 1999, joined the Little Flower Congregation with an ardent desire to become a missionary Priest and on 5 January 2012 he was ordained a priest at St George Forance Church, Muthalakudam by His excellency Rt. Rev. Bishop Bosco Puthur, the then Curia Bishop of the Syro-Malabar Major Archiepiscopal Church.
He did his Minor seminary at Little Flower Seminary Chargawan, Gorakhpur, U.P. and completed my intermediate studies at Janta Inter collage Chargawan. Finished his philosophical studies at Little Flower Major Seminary, Aluva and completed Bachelors studies in the year 2007 from the University of Madras. He did his theological studies at Ruhalaya Major Seminary, collage of Theology Ujjain, MP. He did one-year B.Ed. from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Nepal. I got my appointments as procurator in the minor seminary, principal and parish priest in different places in India as well as in Nepal.
